My First Marine Birthday Ball
Friday, Nov 10th, I attended my very first Marine Birthday Ball with my wonderful boyfriend, Andy. We got dressed up to the 9’s for the evening… he in his dress blues and myself in my favorite red dress. Andy looked sooo incredibly handsome… I was proud to be the one on his arm! And the place where they held the ball was beautiful… the Tower Club at the Village in Gainesville.
Although he’s no longer active duty (he served in the Marine Reserves until 2002), he continues to take great pride in the uniform he wears and has great respect for the branch of the military that he represents.
I’ve posted some photos in the ‘Andy & Lisa’ photo album so everyone could see what the cute couple we are =)
